"Joanne and Theo spend the majority of their time drinking coffee and thrifting! Joanne filled me in on some of their thrifting stores and I am definitly going to have to go check them out! They have no idea how the met! haha they have it narrowed down to perhaps a Christmas party…but they have attended the same church and had similar groups of friends for so long they can’t quite be sure. The moment they realized it was more than just mutual friends was at a banquet…Theo admits to patiently pursuing her from a distance waiting for her to come around…well she finally did and they couldn’t be happier!

About 6 months after being together, they planned a visit down to Phoenix, Arizona to visit Joanne’s best friend. While visiting they stopped by South Mountain Park to watch the sunset. Joanne, who is also an awesome photographer, was off taking photos. (it’s what we do!) Theo called her over, sat her down, and popped the question.

“Surprised, and with a ridiculous grin on her face, Joanne kissed me and said “Of Course”! Holding each other close as we admired this new path we were embarking on, we prayed together committing our journey to God.”

In keeping with their two favourite pasttimes and their wedding theme of owls, Joanne brought along a rolling bag of props, accessories, and outfit changes! I couldn’t wait to see what she was going to pull out of there next!"
